I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Lyon College. I conduct research in international and comparative political economy with a focus on sovereign debt, migration, and public opinion. My work has been published in Economics & Politics, Foreign Policy Analysis, International Studies Quarterly, Political Behavior, and elsewhere. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder. Prior to that, I obtained an M.A. in International Affairs from American University and a B.A. in Political Science from Binghamton University. The best part of my career is serving as a teacher and mentor for students. I teach a wide range of introductory and upper-level undergraduate political science courses. In 2023, I created Lyon College's Behavioral World Politics Symposium. While at CU Boulder, I also served as a research advisor for the STUDIO Undergraduate Research Lab and received the Teaching Excellence Award in 2020. |
